Popped back into the Bio Hackspace this evening to check on my samples; the space was rather quiet today but I was glad to see some living cultures festering in the petri dishes we set up last week. Some of them look like they're probably invasive bacteria since they're hanging around the sides of the dishes, but the armpit and belly button samples worked quite well and are especially beautiful.
I'll be chatting with Mad Scientist in the next few days to see what we can do with these bacteria now that they've shown themselves. I've also got some other research plans in the works – more on that later, but it involves cooking.
